Wet Tap Work in St. Louis Park and East Bethel

Wet taps are one of those jobs that look simple from the surface - but there is a lot going on underground. We were out making live connections to existing water mains in St. Louis Park and East Bethel, and both jobs came together the right way.

A wet tap lets us branch off an active water main without shutting the line down. No service interruption. No disrupting the surrounding area more than necessary. What you are looking at here is a saddle clamp bolted down tight to the existing main, with a gate valve seated directly on top. That gate valve is critical - it gives us full control of the new branch the moment the tap is complete. The hardware has to be right, the torque has to be right, and the crew has to know exactly what they are doing once that cutter goes through the pipe wall.
